Q&A
-
I love being a therapist and feel very fortunate to get to do this work. I chose to become a therapist because I enjoy being curious, and find it both intellectually rewarding to help people understand and navigate places they are stuck, as well as emotionally rewarding to collaborate with people and support them when they are going through difficult, painful, stressful times.

I’ve always been interested in what makes relationships work—and what gets in the way. So much of our wellbeing is tied to how we relate to the people closest to us, and when those connections feel strained or broken, it can affect every part of our lives.
I chose to specialize in couple therapy because I wanted to help people navigate those moments when communication breaks down, emotions run high, or old patterns keep resurfacing. Relationships are complex, and no two couples are the same, which means the work is always dynamic and engaging. It’s not about taking sides or solving things overnight—it’s about helping both partners feel understood, and supporting them as they learn new ways to connect, communicate, and move forward.
